KANAGAWA-KEN |
- Brief Description:
:Kanagawa is unique in that it has all the conveniences
of a metropolitan area while still being blessed with beautiful natural
scenery; mountains, rivers, and beaches.
- Attractions: 'Yokohama China Town' (Yokohama City) has
many famous Chinese restaurants and shops. Yoyogi
park, and several other sightseeing areas are located nearby.

CHIBA-KEN |
- Brief Description: Chiba lies east of the Tokyo Metropolitan area,
and is Japan's gateway to the world through Narita Airport. Because
it is surrounded by water, the oceanic climate is pleasant with
mild winters and cool summers.
- Attractions:'Tokyo Disneyland' (Urayasu City) A
world renowned theme park which offers entertainment for both
young and old.

SAITAMA-KEN |
- Brief Description: This prefecture's nickname 'SAI-NO-KUNI', is translated
as 'The Land Of Colors', which refers to its colorful, beautiful,
and rich scenery, industry and people. To see just how attractive this
area can be, take a look at Saitama's growing population (currently 7 million).
- Attractions: 'Tobu Doubutsu Koen (Miyashiro-machi)'
is both a zoo and an amusement park.

GUNMA-KEN |
- Brief Description: Gunma boasts beautiful scenery, more than
a hundred hot springs, and a wide range of ski resorts.
- Attractions:'Kusatsu Onsen (hot springs)'(Kusatsu-cho)
are located in the highlands, about 1200 meters above
sea level.

TOCHIGI-KEN |
- Brief Description: Tochigi is the largest prefecture in Eastern Japan.
From the center of Tokyo, a short 50 minute train ride will take
you to Tochigi's capital, Utsunomiya City.
- Attractions: 'Nikko' is a historic city that
is home to the beautiful Toshogu Shrine and the Rinnouji Temple.

IBARAKI-KEN |
- Brief Description: Ibaraki is located in the Northeastern part of
the Kanto area. The Tonegawa river runs along it's southern side.
Ibaraki's population is currently 3 million.
- Attractions:'Tsukuba Circuit'(Yuki-gun) is one of
the most popular race circuits in Japan. Races, and other various events, are held there almost every week.
