It is home to roughly 8,800,000 people. Of that massive population, 210,000 residents of Osaka are foreign. This accounts for 15.6% of the whole country's foreign
population. Osaka's climate is quite mild with the average temperature
being 16℃.

'Doutonbori' (Osaka City) is an entertainment
district filled with theaters and cinema houses. At night you
can see the neon lights of the district reflected beautifully in the Doutonbori
river. Den Den Town, a famous shop in the area, is a great place to find electronics at discounted prices.

Kyoto was the capital of Japan for nearly a thousand
years. The city has a rich cultural heritage, which you can see reflected
in the traditional architecture still present throughout

'Rokuonji Temple' (Kinkakuji Temple/GoldenPavilion)'(Kyoto
City) is indiccative of the architecture of the Muromachi
period (1333-1573). It is situated near Kyokochi
Pond.

Hyogo is located at the very center of Japan. Because
of its stereotipically Japanese geographic features and climate, it is often called
'The personification of Japan'. It takes only 30 minutes from
Kobe to Kansai international airport by water.
Attractions:
'Kitano Ijinkan Town' (Kobe City) Here you can find many
exotic-looking mansions in the narrow hills of Kitano. From
the top of the hills, you see the Kobe bay.

Shiga is located at a point of contact between
the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The prefecture is home to the largest
lake in Japan, 'Lake Biwa'. Lake Biwa covers 1/6 of the entire Shiga area.
Attractions:
From the top of 'Lake Biwa Tower'(Otsu City), visitors
can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. The area also holds one of
the largest ferris wheels in the world.

Nara has many shrines, temples, traditional burial
grounds, and ancient forests. The
Imperial mausoleum is located in Nara.
Attractions:
At 'Todaiji(temple)' you can see the Daibutsu (Great
Buddha), one of the most famous monuments in Japan.

Since ancient times, people from all over the country have traveled through Mie by way of the ancient Tokaido Road, and the Sangu pilgrimage route.
Mie also holds the Suzuka Circuit, which has become a mecca for motor-sports fans.
Attractions:
The 'Meotoiwa (The Wedded-Rocks)' (Futami-cho)
are two giant boulders that rise from the sea, and have been fastened
together with ropes. They are an ancient symbol of marriage.
